The things I noticed in the first 30mins looking at it aren't bugs. They're a pretty sizeable step backwards IMO.

I'm not sure expecting the customer to wait 6-7yrs so the "new and improved" UI can get back functionality that has been there for a while is great service. But maybe AAOS will improve quicker than that

There seems to be a lot of emphasis on voice control. But I could previously press a button quicker than it would take to "ask Google" the question, and that doesn't account for the time it then takes to respond (or ask me to repeat the question). For key functions, it's a software solution to a problem that didn't exist as it was solved by other interactions ages ago - maybe not as Gucci as a grad software engineer would like...but it worked Moreover, a number of functions are now buried deeper in menus, which is very much not "progress".

Having watched a few more videos overnight, there might be ways to mitigate some of the things that I expect to cause headaches. We'll see

I find Volvo AAOS very satisfactory and a damn sight better than other systems I have recently experienced. I find it very rare that I want to change anything that requires screen interaction and then find voice control to be very efficient. This in combination with the steering wheel controls means I do not have to avert my attention from the road.
