Hi all,
Well, I finally got the hubs of yesterday (I've started a new thread on rebuilding the rear brakes - https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showt...62#post2654062) and I found 1" bore wheel cylinders. They look original (the car has only done 16k miles and just 2k in the last 30 years!) and support the idea that non-servo cars should have 1" bore cylinders. I am pretty sure that the problem lies in either the front brakes being too inefficient (next joib) or the that the BRV is not functioning properly (last resort). Phil |

Hi all
Interestingly I found a green service book covering brakes on the VEC website which post-dates Aug 1968 (mentioned in the book), which is more recent that the more readily available 1966 version. This has a whole section on brake valves which aren't even mentioned in the '66 green book! Phil |
