I have just bought a sad V40 2003 1.9 D which needs a front N/S wing replacing. Would like to do this myself, does anyone have any tips/advice to offer me?.

You are in the wrong section. This is for the V40 mark 2 that was released in 2012. Unless you have done it before I would go to a pro body shop for that.
