2005 1.8 s40 immobiliser fault
Hi I’ve just bought a Volvo S40 1.8 sport with lost keys I was going to weigh the car in but it looks to nice so I’ve decided to keep it for myself I’ve purchased a full ecu and lock set from a running 2006 1.8 se and get the message immobiliser see manual the steering lock comes off when I put the key in the doors lock and open but when I crank it turns the dash lights off any help much appreciated thanks rick
I replaced main ecu, fuse box under glove box ,ignition barrel, clocks, and key Last edited by Rick111; Feb 15th, 2018 at 10:07. Reason: Forgot to put this in post |

Wrong section I am afraid. This is for the earlier S40/V40 from 1996-2004. Try posting here: https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=58
