Black Screen after update
Hello,
last weel we bought a XC60 MJ2012. Before delivery from the Volvo-dealer they did the last software update mainly from the Sensus so it is possible to update the maps from USB instead of DVD. Apparently the update failed. After doing this the screen stays black and nothing from the infotainment is working. They are now looking at this problem for 3 days and there is still no solution. Does anyone of you have the same experience? Thanks |

Go back to the dealer. They messed it up. If you try any fix yourself, they will blame you.

Really the dealer should be phoning the factory support for this, and trying a download / reset via the diagnostic port

The car is still with the dealer. I did not pick it up. They are trying with help of the factory to solve the problem. I'm waiting for more than a week now. Greets |

I had the same issue, some months ago. Not with this update though, but with another Sensus update. The dealer replaced the Sensus computer under waranty when that happened - but when finished they were unable to load any software in the new unit......
'Sweden' became involved and it turned out to be a communication error between the dealers 'box' and my car. The dealer's box needed an update too apperently........ |

Simply if they don't fix it you will not be proceeding to purchase. They will fix it, of course.
