What extras would you not buy again?
Just a thought as I was driving today.
If you were to reorder the car you have what extras do you wish you had ordered and which ones would you not buy again. For me I wish I had ordered the heated steering wheel and perhaps the 4C suspension. The ones I'm not sure on are the front blind view camera. Maybe I'd have gone for the metallic white over the solid....but at £1000 perhaps not. What about you guys?? Engine? Transmission? Toys?

Auto wipers, AQS, auto folding door mirrors, auto gearbox. Out: Outdated disc based SatNav, DAB radio. While I appreciate the larger screen both the aforementioned have been replaced by a smartphone which is always up to date and connected by BT. I would also trade the rattles and creaks. The spare wheel I'm 50/50 on (until I need it), it's a nice insurance but robs the car of boot space.

Remote control. Still can't get Mrs D to use it !
All my other options are worth the extra.

Inscription leather would be nice, but expensive! Upgraded sound system Out: I am pleased with all the options I have, and would want them on any future car.

I had pitifully few extras but those I had, metallic paint and front beeps, I would have again.
Those I would have liked are Auto and an upgraded stereo as the 5" screen is woefully poor for a car of this value. At the time I really wanted the heated windscreen but now that I have a better method of defrosting my windscreen I am less bothered about that, added to the fact I resent it being parcelled in with other items I did not want anyway. I was also tempted by privacy glass at the time but looking back I am pleased I didn't go for that either as it would have made the rear too dark. I live in Northumberland, not Spain and the sun is not a major issue.

Aren't you supposed to actually drive the car yourself, with you in it?

Options that I consider represent value for money, two years in are:
Super duper HiFi and subwoofers Heated seats in the back, my ear seat passengers always love them and it shows I was thinking of them when I ordered the car, how selfless is that! 20" wheels because, even though the ride is firm, they look drop dead gorgeous Heated windscreen because Mrs A and I drive off from the drive while the lad is still scraping his Audi TT, good feeling Bi-Xenon headlamps that change direction with your steering, because it's dark up here on moonless nights Options I would ditch if I had a second chance: The remote control for the HiFi. We rarely use it, it's almost useless anyway and it just looks good when folk see you use it, not worth even the £75 it cost Things I wish I had specified if I had the chance again: Auto gearbox, but the wife said absolutely no way, aagh D5 AWD 4C suspension / damper control but not available on R-design so it was not really an option for me, how crazy is that? Despite this I still love the car and enjoy driving it on the twisty roads in the Scottish Borders. In gear acceleration across 3rd and 4th when overtaking on two way country roads is a good feeling. alloys in general, silly oversized ones in particular
They only get kerbed, the thin tyres on too-big wheels are very expensive and make the ride worse.
