Volvo s60 2010 oil level
Hi all
I got a volvo s60 d3 2010 2.0 diesel and my mechanic replaced the oil with what I bought (Castrol Edge Titanium 0w30) 5 litres, then he told me to monitor the levels and top up with 0.5L if it says its low. So that happend, and the car said the level is too low and to top up 0.5L.. So i did that, the warning is gone now but the bar is only showing one block after minimum.. So in total it has 5.5 Litres? Is that enough ? It's way below the maximum, and just one block after minimum. Also, when he connected it to PC it said in logs that mileage measure has been changed from MILES to KMs.. Is that possible? And is there a way to change it back to Miles? ( it's not in the computer btw...Its not speed its just mileage.. ) |

The manual from the Volvo website says 5.9L for the 2012 S60 D3 including oil filter. http://support.volvocars.com/uk/cars...=2012&sw=11w46 -> owners manual, page 352.
I would double check the oil level using the dipstick but from what you have said i would expect you need another 0.4L if your mechanic also changed the filter. Add it slowly and keep checking. Regarding the trip computer, I only know how to change the milage/fuel usage, might be different as I'm in a different country. Hopefully you will find it following below: I think the engine has to be off, accessories on: With car off put key in ignition Short press of start stop button with foot OFF brake Wait for the Volvo logo to disappear My Car button (top right of centre console button array) Settings System Options Distance and fuel units
