Yes I used a cheapo one off ebay think it cost me £6 it can read and reset fault codes and look at the basic fuel and engine management sensors but it's limited in it's use.I ended up getting a clone Vida Dice unit off ebay but they are a lot more expensive and you need time to make the most of the software as it's more in depth.I suppose it depends what you want the reader to do for you.

Yes well we have a few cars here so I bought a ancel 410 fo very little and considering it can cost £30-50 to knock out a light it will eventually pay for its self, it doesn't do abs or airbags but it'll do the basics like you said.
I have seen the Vida/dice for sale and I may invest in that, I'm familiar with the planet software for cit/pug so I know they can be a tad tricky to navigate but after a few laps around the track I guess I'd be fine. Thanks I shall let you know my findings.....it's all fun |
