2010 XC90 D5 SE Auto
Will be ready for sale in the next couple of weeks as picking up a new car, so thought I would get advert on here first
2010 Blue XC90 SE. Beige leather interior 160k Miles. Will increase slowly as in daily use. MOT august 2022 - 2 keys 6 speed geartronic auto Detachable tow bar (never used) with locking key Auto wipers heated front seats drivers side memory seat 3 settings cruise control climate control (aircon blows nice and cold) compass on rear view auto dimming mirror folding side mirrors USB connection via glovebox rear parking sensors front fog lights. 4 x good quality branded tyres with decent tread on (Avon ZX7s on rear and Pirelli's on the front) Well cared for example with a mix of mail dealer and indy service history prior to my ownership. 7 Main dealer stamps in service book, then stamped by indy. Stacks of receipts for labour and parts etc. Main Volvo dealer service in 2018 were vehicle also went for a full health check (report available) I purchased the car in 2019 and have done the following myself : 3 x self yearly services. All filters were changed when on 1st service (oil/air/cabin/fuel) Have all receipts for these. Car has just been serviced. New radiator and coolant flush in April 2020 after small leak found on radiator joint. Gearbox oil has been changed with 15 litres of the correct spec gearbox oil. This was done by draining approx 3 litres out of the gearbox sump and then refilling from the top. Repeated this every couple of weeks, 5 times, to complete the change. Never had any issues with the gearbox and is silky smooth. New lower intercooler boost pipe and boost pressure sensor sensor fitted. Everything else works in the car, and it gets the correct usage so DPF is in good shape - my wife ferries the kids to school and it always gets a good long run every week to my work place, or generally at the weekend when we visit family. Bad points : Siren alarm warning on the dash due to alarm batteries - very common issue and will need likely need a new siren to sort (fairly cheap on ebay) and easy DIY to replace. Never bothered me......... Passenger side wheel bearing has just started making a very slight drone. being totally honest as you may not even notice it on a test drive, but I am a bit OCD.... If I get time, I will change this out. The drivers side one was changed by previous owner. If not, a good quality bearing is approx £90 (some on ebay for far less but may not last as long) and a fairly easy DIY, or an indy garage will be able to change it easily enough - Labour on the last bearing change was 1 hour (£60) Requires the 40 spline version. It's been our only car (with 2 small kids) for the last 3 years Never had any major issues and has been wholly reliable bar a few small niggles with are expected with age/mileage. Supremely comfortable and will be sorely missed, but need a ULEZ compliant car as we have family who are inside the extended zone. I did a full HPI check before I bought the car which I am happy to share if interested. If you wish to do your own checks the reg is GL10 JWM. Pics to follow once its cleaned. Car is located in Welwyn Garden City, Herts. Asking £4750 Thanks Mike |
