Reviews online say 8.1, Autotrader says 7.6.

Not that I'm planning on racing anyone off the lights, just curious if anyone knew which was correct?

thanks

Volvo's quoted 0-60 time have always been conservative. Back in the day I had a completely standard 1989 440 Turbo for which Volvo quoted 8.8 seconds to 60, I went to a "run what you brung" event at Elvington and with some proper timing gear hooked up it did it in 6.9.

To an some extent it will depend on the wheels and tyres fitted, ironically some of the sporty cars with big wheels are slower off the mark.

That would have had the mod to increase boost 150 bhp :-)

Drove my brother's Tesla at the weekend. 0-60 in 2.3 seconds. Totally bonkers. It's the future.

The driving settings are standard, sport, insane and insane+. You have to preheat the battery until launch control enables. Four wheel drive and no wheel spin. Unbelievable.

Rubbish build quality though, nowhere near Volvo.

Yeah, I'd agree the build is shocking especially considering the price. The looks are not for me either

I can't help but think that Tesla may become a technology supplier rather than remain a car manufacturer. There are so many established brands out there that are better at building cars but may struggle with the EV drivetrain

Typically with any technology the early pioneers get subsumed by the volume manufactures. This happened with CD players, vhs videos etc.

At somepoint Tesla will likely sell to Ford, GM or a European or Asian giant. When other manufacturers start selling similar volumes and achieve the economies of scale they will be the next Rover/Saab.

Nope - completely standard... I bought it at 3 years old with 31k on it, previous owner was a retired gent.... full Volvo dealer history. I met with the previous owner as he lived not far away, he only sold it because he realised the caravan he was towing was too heavy for it - he swapped it for a 740.

The only mod I did to it was to fit the facelift rear lights and badges.
