Paddy94 Junior Member Last Online: Yesterday 01:21 Join Date: Apr 2016 Location: Belfast	S40 2.0D Overcooling? Temp gauge fluctuating. Hey guys, bit of a strange one this. In the last few days I've noticed that the coolant temp gauge seems to be fluctuating a bit, not massively but enough to notice while driving, in the corner of your eye... It'll warm up to where it should be, just about on the half way mark, but when you stop in traffic or stop at all, the gauge will slowly drop to just above the next mark down. Then when you start driving again, back up it goes to where it should be. Seems pretty strange? It was perfectly fine before and at first I figured it was due to the really cold weather last week, but it's still doing it now Any ideas? Coolant is topped off and I'm thinking maybe the coolant sensor or thermostat myself, but just wanted to see what you guys thought.
