Default newbie saying hello, advice required please!

hi all,

would like to say hello in my first post, and ask for some advice/info.
the wife and i were looking into getting a v50,but financially that ain't viable just yet
we've seen a red 2003 s40 for sale today(hoping to go view tomorrow)its got FVSH 82,000miles up for £5995.
is the milage/price ok?(garage sale)owt we should lookout for?
its a 2.0 sport lux model.it doesn't say whether its a turbo model,did they come in a 2.0 N/A version?

sorry for questions, but first venture into potential volvo ownership.

thanks,keith

that's quite a steep mileage for a 2003 car, but not excessive assuming it has got all the right history.

the 2.0 came in both turbo & NA. make sure that the 80k service included a new cam belt etc, if it's a turbo that should have been done sooner than that (i think).

the mileage is nothing for a volvo almost run in more like.
my 2.0 litre n/a model has done over 152,000 and runs like a watch,it uses no oil at all either.
