R Design Steering Wheel Controls Not Working
As some of you may know ive been repairing a c30 R design for a while now lol.
Annnyyywwaayyy, to the point. Upon refitting the steering wheel(original off the car) none of the controls now work Can anyone shed any light on this please? Thanks Oh, i forgot to add the horn no longer works after the airbag was replaced too |

Simple: the green plug behind the airbag isn't in place. That is the only thing it can be and connects horn and buttons.

Thanks guys. Do they only plug in one way? All the plugs are colour coded aren't they? Sure they would only go in one place, that was ages ago now though lol. I'll get it checked out

Well, the horn only goes in one place. The plugs for cruise and sound system though are the same. But ALL 3 are coupled by the single central green plug. People have forgotten it before...

Right then. Just had it all out & it's all 100% plugged in. Unplugged it & plugged it In again, reconnected the battery & still nothing
