Default V50 2012 LE: How to deactivate front parking sensors

Hi all,
I have a V50 2012 Limited Edition and i have asked the dealer to add front parking sensors to it.
What a nightmare! Does anyone know how to deactivate it? Everytime i go wash the car is a welcome to hell situation because the sensors go on and on and on!!!!
Thanks for the help,
TC

Take car back to the dealer that fitted them as you shouldn't be having such problems - thus they must not have been fitted properly or they are faulty.

Once a proper working set has been installed you should find they will work as you expect and you can wash your car in peace.

Press "exit" or the parking sensor button. Or go into your board menu and have a look around there. I think you can turn them off in there somewhere.

Did the dealer not fit the button that comes with the kit. It should be fitted just in front of your cubby box/cup holder. The is a space for two buttons, one for front park assist and the other for the Driv-e button.
