C30 Electrics : C30 audio options

Hello,

Can anyone with a C30 tell me what the different audio options on these are, had a look at a 2010 C30 and it seemed to have a 6 speaker audio setup that sounded good, is this only on r design versions? and how can you tell which version is fitted?..

Also aux 3.5mm input in the centre armrest, seems to be on the facelift 2010? cars but is it possible on earlier cars to have an aux in, or fit / modify the standard audio to add one?,

Can the audio hookup for bluetooth handsfree phone use, and the numeric keypad on the floating dash whats it for?

All C30's should have had the 3.5mm aux on the options list, our 08 had it and that was a proper povvo spec one although some people have higher spec cars and don't have it. The basic audio is 6 speakers, the High Performance Audio has 8 and a subwoofer. R-Design is based on the S trim so has basic audio as standard iirc, SE and above have HP and then Dynaudio was an option. If the car has a Mode button next to the CD eject button you'll have either an Aux, USB, BT music or a combination or all of them depending on options chosen. If it says CD it may have a single CD or a 6 CD changer. If it has HP audio adding Aux is a proper task so try to get one with it already if you want it.

If the car has factory BT it should have BT music and the keypad is to select radio presets etc unless there is a phone then it can be used to dial a number
