Exclamation 2002 man D5 driveshaft buyers guide/mystery. Help!

Hi all,

Have decided to replace passenger side driveshaft due to noticeable vibrations on load. I have LHD car, so it's right side, believe, they are the same for LHD/RHD vehicles though, thought.. I've started from doing homework by searching an original OEM #, which is (according to several sources) 8251780. Original part costs EUR540 (the cheapest option I've been able to find). No surprise, all s80I owners have been there, thanks Lord we have Google and aftermarket. But here my issues come:
1. According to various sources, OEM number is also 8602571 or 8689207 or 8601387 (up to chassic #243873).
2. There are a plenty of brands available: Spidan, ODM, Shaftec, ANB Parts, Cevam, Euro Driveline, Interparts (not going to make another "China parts quality" thread here though).
My 1st option to choose has been something from GKN (Spidan/Loebro); they don't have exact match for manual s80 though, acording to online catalogues and message from one of GKN sales managers I've got (made a request). So, my second option was something for v70/s60 (which are available).
I've picked up Spidan 25337 (which fits s80, according information seller has seen in TecDoc), but decided to dig a bit more; in my mind s60 is a bit narrowed so a driveshaft must be. Spidan 25337 has 990mm length.
So I've started to ask sellers about "perfect match" for my car, providing VIN code and full car description (well, just in case).
I was thinking guys in sales departments in their infinite wisdom must know better. Well.. I've got several options so far:

* Spidan 25337 ( 990mm )
* Euro Driveline VO-219A ( 1015mm )
* Euro Driveline VO-299A ( 971mm ) (v70/s60)
* CEVAM 5509 (1008mm) - this one is not available, just listed as #8251780 match in catalogues
* Interparts 8251780 ( 990mm ) (v70/s60)
* Eurodriveshaft VO-8-922A ( 990mm ) (v70/s60)

Sometimes s80 is in a part "vehicle compatibility" table, sometimes is not, but seller in each case is 100% sure it fits, but can it be true? Mean, it's pretty obvious 971mm and 1015mm is not the same, so, hypothetically, a shorter one can falls apart at U-turn.

Apart from a rhetorical "what the heck?" question, please, please, anyone, any bit of advice. Which length fits Volvo s80 2002 manual M56 turbo diesel?
Thank all in advance for any note!

P.S. There is also this one from J&R, sure, someone will mention it; fits almost any manual s80I, asked them a question yesterday about it's length..
