Front ABS Sensor, metal cylinder type
I have a weird ABS fault and need to test the system with a known good ABS sensor.
If anyone has a working front ABS sensor from a V70 TDi please drop me a PM? It's the metal cylinder type with black plastic two pin plug on top. Cheers.

I'm breaking a T5 at the minute, should be the same however I would suspect it is the ABs control unit needs the solder reflowed, usually shows as l/h/f abs sensor fault

I don't know if they are the same - they could be but I recently bought a steering knuckle complete with sensor from an x70 that wasn't a TDi and the sensor and hole for it were very different.
In any case it's all sorted now. I bought a new ATE sensor from ECP when they had a massive sale about a month ago and the brakes are all fine now. I knew it wasn't the ECU as I'd already swapped it for a known good recon unit and the problem persisted. The sensor I took off, which was a cheapo eBay special (stung by my own motto, buy cheap buy twice) was a couple of mm shorter than the one I replaced it with - maybe that's irrelevant, I don't know, but the new sensor cured the problem. Thanks all the same.
