Lol ... I'd forgotten about that ... yes it is indeed where the blue stuff is made! Nice enough spot ... the Rock of Cashel is pretty much the big attraction there, along with the good 'ole cheese!

Personally I've much cheaper taste ... Tesco stuff in fact. If it gets a bit too ripe I even cut the mould off the edges and work away on the rest of the block ....

Well, can't wait 'till Sunday! Looking forward to seeing some decent machinery there
( Please don't anyone bring a P1800 ES with a for sale sign on it, I have enough problems as it is! ). Looks like a nice straight drive too, that M1!

Got the car nice and clean, oil dude did oil, been vacuumed ... breakdown kit complete lol ... spare actually pumped up ...

What an excellent meet today! We had a pretty good turn out of Estates; can't imagine what the on-lookers would have been thinking!

It was nice to meet and greet new faces and finally see a couple more very nice cars from the website. I had a blast taking the 245 around some of the roads and I sure hope they didn't put anybody off future runs! I'll need to get the exhaust checked out in daylight soon, but I was leaving a nice trail of white smoke coming up the motorway this evening!!

We forgot the video camera so didn't get any video, plus as we were leading couldn't really get any on-the-road pictures, but here's a few to get the juices going for now;

Some great pics there! - Thanks for sharing. Really enjoyed the day ... must say Brendan's car can fairly move too ... is there something secret going on under that hood?! Loved them all ... from your own true classic to V70's ... and of course Des's V90. What an engine !!!

PS: I've a Sony VX9000E, professional bit old and big ( ex - RTE, main channel here ) ... can make it available no prob. next time if needed.

Hi All,

Glad to hear you all had a great day out. A very big thank you has got to go to Darren for providing us with an excellent range of roads from the gravelly to super smooth and a few hills/Mountain passes as well .

I know he put a lot of effort into arranging this , from test driving the route to providing maps and ensuring that we all knew what was happening.




He has certainly thrown down the Gauntlet for the next meeting in the South


Thanks to Des for making the meeting while on holidays in Wexford. Hope you have a safe trip home and it was great to put a face to the name. Indeed a very large thanks to all those who made it, as it resulted in a great day out for all.
