Default Bonnet ADjustment

I'd like to see if any others think that the bonnet sits too LOW in middle?

I can easily raise it up at the edges with teh rubber bumpers but the centre is below the body line and needs 'excessive' pressure to latch, I even had it unlatch on motor-way not good but at least secondary held!!! This was about fifty miles since last opened to top up screen wash. The warning alarm is pretty loud, no hiding from it.

Anyway in old days you just unscrewed centre springgy bit but now it is a cheap loop and i can't see how you get access to nuts for catch.

any ideas, not impressed with local dealers ability as they took twenty miles of road use to hear the rattle (you could hear it if gone to local industrial estate) from winder part and then said 'do you want us to order parts and fix it?' Yes says me 'Oh well maybe 7days for part!'
