Default Windows problem ?

Had the car since early January. Back in March came out of Asda and found N/S rear passenger window down. Ask my lad, who had been sitting in that position, if he had had the window down, said no. Didn't believe him but , did not make an issue of it. When I approached the car, I noted "two likely lads" just sat in a Focus opposite and facing my car. Anyway it was a busy Saturday, so all OK, plus the alarm was on.

Anyway, not been out in the car since Thursday night, went out this morning to wash it. And there it was with all the windows down, nothing disturbed, and like i said the alarm was on. It is parked directly outside and below my first floor bedroom window. And I always check to see the red flashing alarm set light is on, before i draw my curtains.

Anybody else experienced a problem like this?

Cheers

Have you got Global window open and close set in the menu? You could be accidently pressing the remote button in your pocket for more than 5 seconds which will do this .

Cheers Clan, that was what caused it. Now how do you remove that setting? I've looked in the menu and found nothing that allows me to alter it. Nor could I find anything in the manual. Other than it indicating that the remote does open all the windows.

Its in the menu under car settings i think , perhaps someone here can help , but possibly not there on early ones i cant remember . If its there it will be in the handbook somewhere . The dealer should be aable to program it off if you dont have it in the menu .

Definitely not in the menu, or in the handbook, so it will have to be a dealer jobbie. Like you say, regards the earlier models, mine is a 2004 Sept reg

Thanks for your help though, much appreciated.
