Default s40 tyre sizes for larger alloys..

I currently have 17' alloys on my s40 and I am considering getting larger ones. I know that for the size of the alloys the s40 has quite a large profile at 205/50/17 , what would the correct size of wheel/tyre combination to get if I wanted 18/19' wheels?

19" would be an overkill!

My OEM 18" wheels were fitted with 215/45 R18 Pirelli P-Zeros (Rosso) which are about £155 each. I also know that my V50 (2007 model) was factory modified to accommodate the larger wheels see the attachhttp://vccs.volvocars.se/accessories...VCC-251722.htm which refers to instruction to restrict the turning circle, add rear bump stops and alter speedo calibration.

Hope this is of help.
