Default 740 2.3 Turbo Intercooler 1990 Est and 940 2.0T 1992 Saloon

For those that have been following my thread, i've been having a few gearbox issues with my 740 Turbo.

Now, I've made a decision to go back to the FWD cars (and I've just bought one), as i'm just not enjoying the gearbox swap project!

I'm going to try and sell these cars whole first - together if possible, before I then break for parts. Maybe someone wants to carry on where I've left off.

Price for both cars and all relevant bits that have been removed; £400.
(Which is just slightly higher than scrap value)

So, 2 cars;

1990 740 Turbo Auto Estate - 183K on clock, MOT until May 2014, no tax. Plenty of pictures in the project thread!
Needs new gearbox (old one is out already), brakes have plenty of meat but do squeal, fuel gauge a bit temperamental, oil leak in rear axle. Have taken bits off in order to get to the gearbox, but I've still got them all.
Plenty of service history, drives very well (when gearbox is fine!), I did quite a lot of fixing it up when I bought it - including fitting a replacement steering rack.
Decent tyres and alloys, not found any rust on it yet, except for a small bit in the boot section.

1992 940 2.0T Saloon - 129K on clock, MOT until Dec 2013, no tax.
Bought this as its a manual gearbox version, and I decided once upon a time to actually do an auto to manual swap on the 740 using this drivetrain.
Plan was to swap gearbox, prop shaft and rear axle.
This car drives as it is, I've driven it to work a few times and its a nice little drive - however a lot of interior is missing, radio missing, sunroof is held in by a bodge wooden frame, but drives well and gearbox/OD unit work well. Crunches sometimes putting it into reverse though. One brake disc is rubbing, water pump looks wet too, leaves a drop of oil on the ground every so often too. Speedo does play up, and occasionally says 90mph. Bodywork isn't bad, plenty of sticky tape residue on the roof though.
Some service history for this, but not much. Only bought it for its gearbox.
Again, looks good underneath, can't see any rust but its pretty dirty under there.

Pictures;

Any interest, drop me a line, or i'll start breaking them

I don't think its got a 16v head (I think its just a B200FT) but i'll grab a picture tomorrow for you

Edit: Old picture here, its a B200FT alright, there's no twin camshaft.

Can still get an engine bay pic if you need one?

This thread disappoints me greatly. I am most displeased.
