1985 740GLT Saloon Rear Shocks Lower Bushes
Hi,
Please can anyone advise if the lower bushes and centre bush inserts are available. I've tried local motor factors and the Internet also considering poly bushes. The really is nothing wrong with Shocks other than the lower bushes and I'm loathed to replace them if I could find some replacement bushes. Thanks for your help. |

If the bushes are gone I would have thought the dampers were too. My dampers felt fine but the bushes were cracked. So I fitted new dampers, at some point it had been fitted with gas rather than oil dampers. One didn't return and the other returned really slowly so for the sake of how cheap they are you might as well fit a new set of dampers.

Thanks but the Shocks are perfect. They are genuine Volvo and saw little use before the car was laid up. They are now repainted the correct blue and all I need is the bushes to refit after the rear arms etc come back from powdercoating.
