Again suspension should be fine on the front but may possible need a drop link, track rod end or track rod itself. There is always the possibility if it has had a hard impact that the steering rack has been bent but it usually takes a fair whack for that to happen. If this is the case though then a steering rack is expensive.

I would take the car somewhere to be checked over then see what the outcome of the actual damage is. We can then point you to the best place to get hold of the relative parts then if you post them up.

The scrape runs the full diameter of the wheel, with dirt on the tyre. It looks like someone bumped a kerb (pretty hard to have done that sort of damage) and doesn't want to admit it. Going sideways into the kerb could have also damaged the front suspension, explaining why your steering wheel is no longer level.

Now, would you like to come clean and tell us what *really* happened?

James
I'm not making this up, this is what *really* happened. Why would I lie on what has happened? There is a small damage on the N/S lower bumper, right next to the exhaust pipe/muffler.

Thank you for the suggestions/advice guys, I'm in a panic mode right now, as I don't know what to expect tomorrow. I'm being 100% honest here, I never took the car out for a spin or drove like a maniac.

i can tell you for a fact a motorbike has NOT caused that damage. If it had hit the car that hard to damage the wheels in that way you would be looking at a dead motorbike rider, alot more damage to the car and a bike in pieces all over the place.

Just had my mate have a look at this, he is an accident investigator for Linsc police, he said exactly the same as others, the cars hit a curb at some speed.

This was my initial plan, until I got redundant/job loss, and then this happened to my car. What's that got to do with the damaged/accident happened today?!?!

Do you not think they rather set the scene as to your style of driving?

and 26 has some relevance I do believe.

I suppose the other question is was the damage on the kerb side when parked? Its feasible you did it yourself whilst parking.

What is weird:

why is the damage on the LEFT hand side of the car? I mean, if you park up, that is the side you park next to the curb. So you get into your car and don't see it. I have before misjudged when parking up. Luckily my rims were only 15" steelies... I didn't notice that I hit the curb whilst doing so.

This would also make sense, as the front track is wider than the rear. So if you park up and pull over to the left, it will more so effect the front (you won't feel much or anything, as a slight little contact is enough...).

The two little dents could come from someone getting in their car or could have been done by someone leaning against your car.

I don't see how ANY motorist could cause any damage here. With the rims IN the wheel arch (not flush or sticking out) as seen here:

a car or motorbike hitting the rim would have caused some major damage to the side of the car. And as others had said, to cause some nasty damage, the motorcycle wouldn't have been able to drive further... The driver would probably be laying under your car...

I've had an accident on the Autobahn at 50 mph where a lorry pushed me sideways into the center barrier destroying my rims on the drivers side. As my rims poke out, I had NO damage on the driver's side. Just the rims. At the same time, if you get the force of a 40t truck pushing your car against a center barrier, and that via the rims on the front axle, you would think there would be some damage...

Not ONE bit of it! The front suspension (incl. bearings!) was in top notch! As said, at 80 km/h (50 mph). And that was a nasty force...

I am thinking something has not been said here. I am not taking sides, and I am not saying someone is lieing, but something is missing in this story.

No it doesn't set the scene of my style of driving, cause these post's I sent on this forum were in theory. Right now I want to get my car back on the road.
