Update today on mine.... car is produced and will be at the dealers on 4/6!!

First D5 in the UK with the new 205 bhp engine according to dealer.

That's a bit of a bold statement for Volvo to make when they don't have anything to compare it to, being a new market segment for them.
The XC60 is getting fantastic reviews and write ups, being regarded as the best in class however, as we are all too painfully aware now, all it takes is the goon in 11 Downing Street to do or say something in a pre-budget/budget speech and all bets are off.

UPDATE!!!

Just been to my dealer (sorting our number plates for my 780) and good news.... the XC60 have arrived to Volvo's centre and will be with the dealer either today, tomorrow or on Thursday latest (shows DELD in their system which means delivered to dealer!).

It is also confirmed that my XC60 D5 with the new engine will be the first customer delivered car in the UK. Nice to know but makes little difference as it's just "another" car.. :-)

I picked mine up last Friday (after a bank holiday and a weeks wait!).

New D5 is gem!!

Sorry I haven't followed all the post lately, but surely this engine needs to go into the XC90 asap or even sooner! Is it due, or is the XC90 not getting any further up grades .... ever?
