P1800 How much headroom?
Evening, I’m looking for views on internal dimensions of a P1800E or S. I’ve been thinking about buying one for some time, with limited supply they are all a long drive away. The big question for me is will I fit in? I’m 6foot 6 and therefore need to get feedback on Wether I’ll fit comfortably?
I also have a Merc SL 1997 which I just fit into. The daily driver of an XC60 is supremely comfortable. Any help would be gratefully appreciated before I start long trips to view cars. |

Hi, they are not tall cars and the roof lines come in at the sides - I've just measured mine from back of seat to head lining is 86cm I'm not 6ft 6 and my head touches the roof lining when sat in car. hope this helps
Maybe get one with a Sunroof and only go out in sunny weather :-) |

I did measure my min requirements in my own car and I need 94cm at the back of seat base to roof lining. |

Not as sporty to look at but a Amazon is virtually the same underneath, much easier to get in and out of, a better built car, normally less rust issues and much easier and cheaper to fix any rust issues. A nice 2 door GT can be had for a lot less than a P1800 these days and realistically a better car.
Sorry to the P1800 owners, they are a beautiful car.
