CR-702 Radio Head Unit
I have the CR-702 unit that i replaced in the 740. It worked well, although i cant be sure about the lighting as the dash lighting on the car rarely worked.
it has; 12 FM presets, 6 MW presets, 6 LW presets, Casette playback with DNR, can be linked to the Volvo EQ but doesnt have TP, or the ability to run a CD unit. I cut the wires on the back to use them to link in my new CR-906, but i think i could solder to the bits that i have left. Youll see in the photos anyway. Postage of the new radio to me was £8.96, so any sensible offers, and ill take the damage to the wiring into account. Richard |

Hi,
I'm new to this site and 've just been reading your article on the CR702. Is it still available, as I am willing to pay the postage. |

Hi, I think you missed the post date, July 2010.
I'd guess it's binned by now.

If only I'd been on here, I actually only binned it last week! Sorry. Sure you'd be able to find one easily enough seeing as they were original equipment in most uk 740s.
