hey guys, just found this site and have got to say its very detailed with a helpful bunch on here.

I ordered a 2011 r design...and can't wait to have it delivered...I know the r design has the 'mid life crisis' look as mentioned in one of the older threads...and its sort of true, considering the car that the xc is replacing!

Its fair to say we are both eager to get delivery as soon as possible...and hope to be able to co tribute here.

There is no doubt the R design is the most "striking" of the XC family.I too have an XC90 an I love it! Which colour have you gone for?

I've ordered black with black leather, rear tinted windows, rear parking camera, front parking sensors, heated seats and sat nav with bluetooth.
The only decision i'm unsure of is what colour wheels to get...

If you've been looking through the previous posts you have probably seen the photos of my black R Design. I went for the darker wheels. I picked them for the looks, but an advantage I've noticed is that brake dust isn't as obvious as on silver wheels. It's a smart looking car. When are you expecting delivery?

hi scrambler.,,yeah have seen your cars picture...looks lovely.,.I wqnted the darker wheels, but the missus said the silver wheels matched the wing mirrors and roof rails...she has a point...so just have to make the choice unless its too late.
Car is due around mid to late Sept...so a bit of a wait.
