Default Another dumb question

Need to check the ignition timing (1984 B21A with PAS).

I can't for the life of me see a timing mark on the edge of the crank pulley (either the double pulley for the alternator or the single PAS pulley).

Am I just being thick? Is there really a timing mark on the pulley? If so, how is it marked?

Getting annoyed with such a simple thing now!!!!!!!

It should be just a little nick out of the back edge of the pulley, according to the gospel of haynes

Found the mark this morning.
It really is very shallow indeed and almost invisible. Guess it wasn't notched as deeply as some others?

Oh well, at least it's painted white now.

Thanks.
