Default Which Thule Roof Box??

I have just fitted a set of Thule Wingbar Edge Roof Rails to my 2015 XC60 R-Design and I’m now looking at a roof box.

I’m currently deliberating between the Thule Motion XT XL or XXL, I’m looking for a lot of additional luggage space but not sure if the XXL would be too big for the XC60.

Do any of you guys have either of these boxes fitted and can offer some advice before I take the plunge??

Thanks in advance.

Steve

Hi, I don't have a Thule Box but as a guide mine is 177cm long (and 85cm wide).

It's a Hapro Softbox, I recently did a 2,000 mile trip with it. I'll see if I can dig out a photo.

You could go bigger but remember to leave space for the boot to open. A long box might also be in your eyeline when driving if that bothers you.

...and I went for a mahoosive roofbag for about 60-odd quid, because space per quid ratio was unbeatable.
