Default Swap to 262c

Hello everyone.
My apologies if this topic was already covered, but I was not able to find any info
So I bought probably world cheapest volvo 262c Now I’m slowly moving towards restoring it. But as it’s sort of cheapest .. some wiring parts not available like fuse box, window switches etc. so because of that I have an idea to buy Volvo 960 and use it as a donor for as much parts as possible. Anyway PRV engine is trouble I was trying to compare pictures and physical sizes of both cars and its quite similar, but I would prefer to swap as mush as possible from one body to another like all wires and airco system, dash and so on.
What do you guys think ? Is it reasonable? Does anyone know what will not be possible? Maybe someone can point me to similar swap?

Buy a 264 as a parts car.
Everything else is possible
Straight 4 (B230F (T))
V6
V8
Straight 6
Nissan engine
Automatic or shifted

Everything, depends on your skills and budget.

Good luck, Rost will be a hughe problem. I'm welding on a bad car in this moment. Silly and stupid guys did weld in the past this car :-((((

The dash from a 7xx or 9xx is not a bolt on swap and will be ugly

Have a look to a 264......or 240 (straight 4)

Hello mocambique-amazone
Thank you fro your reply. Can you please explain a bit more about dash. I actually even ok if I need to cut a firewall a bit if needed. And the idea for me is to go with 6 cylinder coming from the threads where people describing how to swap white block and saying that oil pan from 960 will be needed. That what triggered me to think that maybe I can try to swap some more from it.
Yes rust is a pain but I must admit those cars are still quite in a good shape quite often. Well comparing to other brands.

The engine and gearbox will fit in, you do not need to do any cutting of the body to make it fit.
The dash is the same as a 240 so if you have problems with the dash look at 240's for parts
