Cool Took delivery Friday 26th. (Pics included)

Hey guys

Have finally got delivery of the car last Friday. It was a smooth handover from the dealer here in Limassol.
Went through the usual checklist (not too long though given the limited options), enjoyed my half-full tank and off we went.

We chose Crystal White given the sunny Cyprus.

Im attaching the picture showing 9.1km at delivery and then another one about 30 minutes after when I took the car for a drive :-)

Looks great, one if the first pictures I've seen in Chrystsl ****e. Sadly I don't think my Chrystsl White will look quite as stunning as yours when I pick up later - its looking quite grey here today. Enjoy both car and the weather

Thanks @Wildoskar

The white is great and it really shines in sunlight. Yes, there are hundreds of white Volvos but for us here in Cyprus it just works.

All we wanted was a good safe family car. Our young family is expanding so I had to sell my Hyundai Coupe and look for something more practical.

We had to chose between the XC60, X1 and Evoque. Volvo was the winner in terms of safety, ride and tech/specs for our budget.

I've had my current XC60 for 4 years, it's been a great car. Previously Ive owned Landrovers and BMW's, both good in their own right but the Volvo has been a better all rounder. Interstibgky I looked at the same cars as you before I opted for another XC60, also considered the X3 and Q5. I really liked the interiors of them all, had a better overall finish than the XC60 but as a total package the volvo won through. Looking at the new XC90, I susoect that we will see a new style and higher trim in future Volvo's which in my opinion could make them unbeatable.

You are right.

Volvo is slowly but surely position themselves to gain more market share from the german rivals.
For me, in terms of reliability, comfort and safety, is up there with the big players.

Car and colour looks great, enjoy. We've just come back from a round trip to London and found the car excellent to drive and very comfortable.
