Default Intercooler pipe

Hi All,
first post! I bought my 2011 (12MY) xc70 d5 awd about 2 months ago and all was well until the main aluminium intercooler pipe (the one that runs under the sump) split last week. Apparently this is a common known fault and there has been a superseded part consisting of 3 separate pipes, which apparently cost 550!!! Is there an aftermarket kit available? or are the parts available cheaper elsewhere?
I'm handy with spanners and welder so very happy to make my own up but if there's a reasonably priced kit that would save me time that would be good!
Apologies if this has been done to death I did do a search first but couldn't find anything

Can you post a pic of the failure? Maybe this is an easy thing to patch?

Hi not right now as it's at the garage having the fan bearings replaced 🙄
At that cost though I think I'll get the replacement hose for the resonator and then work out how to link that to whats left of the aluminium pipe...
I get the car back next saturday so will try and get some pics
