Default Rear moulding for Ph2 V40

Hi folks

The lower red 'light' on the driver's side rear moulding mounted on the tailgate of my Ph2 V40 has got 'bulls eyed'. It's the bit that's attached to the tailgate but, when closed, lines up with the rear light clusters. Is that trim all in one piece or are the coloured lense pieces separate from the centre section? Anyone have one?

Thanks in advance

Tim

It's all one object. Lights, centre section, everything. They're not hard to obtain secondhand.

I've always thought they'd make a good trailer board!

Thanks Canis for coming back to me...I wondered if folk knew what it was I was talking about. I've been looking for one of these parts but haven't had much luck so far. I will have to look harder after Christmas. I haven't taken the damaged one off yet....how many screws/clips hold it on? Does anyone have one off a car they're breaking that I could have? Are they all the same colour or does the colour differ according to the colour of the car. Are the Phase 1 and Phase 2 V40s the same in respect of that part or do I have to get a Phase 2 one for a Phase 2 car?

Thanks in advance

Once Christmas is out of the way and I've got the t4 back then you're welcome to the one off the SE.

Hi clarkey

Sorry for delay in replying...I was over on Arran over Christmas where GF suddenly got rather poorly. We're back home now and she's on the mend happily.

Yes, I am definitely interested in your offer of your rear V40 moulding if/when it becomes available.

Thanks in advance

Yeah, they're not hard to find. I've got three here, and one I threw away. A guy offered me one while I was parked in the doctor's surgery! They're everywhere.

There is a very slight cosmetic difference betweem P1 and P2 cars, but nothing functionally different.
