Default Chance of a XC90. Looking for advice.

As thread title says after deciding to sell a couple of my cars I've now had a spanner thrown in the works in the shape of an xc90 at very handy money.
It's on a 07, auto with 132k on the clock and has almost a full service history.
What I'm looking for is hopefully some advice on any issues they have and what to look out for.
It's the Euro 4 engine I've been told so I think that rules out swirl flap issues I believe.
Also curious to see how much the road tax is as the gov website says over £500 but the equivalent car on autotrader is around £300.
Don't know a great deal about these but it's a car I've always had a soft spot for but also always had the fear of running one the same as when I had my Range Rover.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Just realised that I've put this in the wrong section. Feel free to move to general if need be.

Joe

07 XC90 does have the dreaded swirl flaps and unfortunately is in the region of £500+ VED. Parts will be expensive if using genuine Volvo but nothing as expensive as Range Rover parts

It does have the swirl flaps. They may have been done. Not a huge job if not. Circa £100 on parts if your handy with spanners.

If its a manual it is the lower tax bracket.

Check when the Auto fluid was changed, if ever.

if not, make sure you take the car for a good long run, give it some beans and get the auto fluid hot. If its starts banging into and out of gears, then the valves in the GB may need attention, if it doesn't and it hasn't had GB fluid changed, do it. With 132k on, its good advice to change if to prevent any issues.

Lots of recent posts requesting advice on XC90 purchase, Have a search.

Also worth checking the engine mounts and torque rods, all 5 of them

Thanks for the replies.
It's through a friend that works in a car auction so not much chance of a test drive or option to check it out.
I was just curious but after reading some of the threads on here I think I'll probably just give it a miss as I had made my mind up to reduce my cars and the last thing I need is more grief like I had with my last S60.
Then again never say never......decisions decisions lol.
