Default C30 R-Design - Crap turning circle

I used to own an S40 T5 (17inch wheels) and an S40 2.0d (16") and I swear the turning circle on the C30 R-design is worse on both.

The C30 feels almost as wide as my S60 when turning

What gives? Appreciate the wheel base is identical to an S40 but how comes the C30 seems harder to make tight turns?

Does it have 18" wheels? You'll have appalling lock with those.

17" and 16" are better.

It is terrible - My old Celica GT4 had a better turning circle and that was 4WD. I don't understand why it's so big.

Default the 88 point turn

must be those 18" rims, C30 s are pretty good on turning, but that comment applies to the 17" rims, still cant be as bad as an S60 😂

Have an S40 T5 here, on both 17" or 18" wheels the turning circle isnt that great.

Cars with 18" rims have steering limiters installed to prevent rubbing at full lock. Perhaps yours falls into this category.
