My understanding is, only one light comes on normally until you do an emergency stop and the other flashes, I don't think a normal stop will do anything.

My thoughts and understanding after reading the handbook are you have either 1 or 2 rear fogs (must be model year specific) and they are either on or off depending on light switch position, engine running or not and wether the button has been pressed.
Under hard braking the emergency brake lights are activated which are the normal brake lights changing from a constant glow to flashing to be replaced by flashing hazards at about 5 mph. |
