Default Mirror tilting when in reverse

I've tried using this feature but my mirrors tilt so far down I can only see the ground. I've looked through the manual but couldn't find the answer so, is there a way to set the mirrors to the tilt position I want and save it?

I wish there was.
If you have memory seats you can programme a spare memory position to put the mirror where you want it but it's not an ideal solution.
If anyone knows how to adjust the pre set position I'd love to know too.

Yep same for me - I have it set but the ground isn't an ideal view I really want to just see the lines and some rear perspective. On my 2009 XC60 the tilt occurred by pressing the mirror button when in reverse gear but it tilted a sensible amount. Shame it is not adjustable on my 2016 version.

My other S60 is an 04 model and I fitted a CFE to that so I could set the mirrors to tilt where I wanted them to look. I've got my new CFE for the new car so as soon as the software is released hopefully it'll work the same.

I had turned this option on for reversing, but found it didn't always help (e.g. it's great when parallel parking against a kerb, but not much use in an underground car park)

So I turned it off again. Today I realised that when I'm in reverse, if I hit the L or R button to adjust the mirror, it'll tilt down to view the kerb for me.

I was delighted! Dunno if that helps your predicament, OP, it's not exactly the answer you were looking for but might be a half-way house for you?

I found that as well. Press either button and they tilt, press both buttons and they fold. Even less useful for reversing but I'm sure it'll come in handy one day.

How do you turn off the option?
