I read the thread and tbh its very confusing.

One of the last posts from Sir Drivealot gave me a migrane.

So he ****ed up a car, several cars i think, lost in court with a gagging order and from what i can tell told a VOC member to shut up or he would sue.

Correct me if i am wrong so far.

Yip your pretty much there Andrew but there was a couple of members told to shut up or they would end up in court but this all seams to of gone quiet..RTMechanic even went to the hassle of getting any associated negative comments removed from Google which is some going IMO..

Sir Drivealot gives many people a migraine so you not alone on that one LOL

How do you go about getting negative comments removed from Google??? How on earth did he manage that???

I would expect the plaintiff has thought better of his claim rather than the defendants scurried away.

After all, the prospect of a victory are, to be honest rather remote.

I think what we're dealing with here is that the vast majority of "I'll see you in court mate" type letters are issued on shakey legal grounds...simply designed to scare the recipient into submission. Unfortunately for Russ, some of the people involved are the wrong ones to pick on.

As has been said over and over again, if he had been half as concerned about fixing the original problem as he has been about attempting to clear up the subsequent fall-out and damage to his reputation...

As for how to get things removed from Google...it seems you have your lawyer write them a letter...

so this prize chump is still in cloud cookoo land , hasnt had any joy attempting to bully people for speaking the truth, so has bs'd google with some semi legal sounding letter from a so called legal person who didnt check All the facts before earning lots of money sending out letters on the clients behest.

supprising i suppose just what you can do when you really spit the dummy....

Gets even better as it would seem Volvo UK dont like the way RTMechanic has been using the Volvo brand name without consulting them before hand..Lets see how long it takes BMW and the Mini to take the same actions..
