The moderation team have learned that further e-mail communication was recieved on Monday 3rd January 2011 sent by RT Mechanics Ltd's Solicitor, Andrew M Higgs of Haslemere, Surrey.

This e-mail extends the "deadline" for a response to the earlier communication. For the avoidance of doubt, we are also aware that a comprehensive response has already been sent to, and recieved by Mr. Andrew M. Higgs. It would appear that RT Mechanics Ltd are keen to persist with such demands regardless.

It has seperately been brought to our attention that the Volvo Owners Club recently withdrew RT Mechanics Ltd's advertising and trader status from the 'Driver' Magazine and internet forum respectively.

We would continue to advise our members to disseminate this information to anyone whom they feel might be at "risk" of any "action" as set out in our original statement and urge any other members who may recieve correspondance from Mr. Andrew M Higgs to contact the moderation team.

A litigation letter will land on your door mat from RT Mechanics legal counsel? I sincerely doubt that any right thinking competent mechanic would find the need to use such a tactic, they would be able to present their case with factual evidence in an open and public medium to vindicate the inference regarding their competence.

Thank-you for splitting/editing this thread.

My understanding of the current postition is that Member X is still awaiting a reply to his response to AMH.

It would appear that despite setting a target time for a response from member X, AMH are not prepared to respond with such attention.

To this end, must I assume they have no response..
