Agreed. You'd want to sound-off like a Miss World contestant to think anyone can be paid for this.

Time will be the issue. Done right it's one of those jobs you need to do in total, and KNOW it's been done in total. If it hasn't you'll never find out until it's too late.

The real issues will be deep down, and hidden, and 'labour-intensive'. Only you have the self-interest to be prepared to get in there, removing this, or that to get at what needs be done.

I've part-done mine and I've only done sections, and to date I've put in two short days. And that's only the rear arches/bumper area. The bumper-mounts / impact bar, took ages to remove/clean and treat. Tow-bar is the only bit you can see. Copper-greased with new fasteners, so that it all comes off again to check too. It's inconceivable, anyone being paid to do the job would see to all. Whereas, what you can see is an hour's work.

For anyone without a tiara and who isn't Jeremy Corbyn, anything else is inconceivable. It's just too easy to make a fair job look like a total job. All done, I suspect - assuming I don't find anything serious, welding?? - it's STILL, on and off, a 3-4 day job.

But ignore me. Wheel it round, I'll do yours in a morning... and because it's you, and because we care. £650.

Ka-ching..
