It's a new one on me too, but doing a bit of reading it seems quite common across all marques.
I did have the head off but kept the manifold attached as it was easier just to pull the turbo off. I did however initially loosen one manifold stud, the one that's leaking. |

Thanks for that, it's reassuring to know this must be normal rather than having a cracked head or whatever.
Leak is 80% better today but still a small bit coming from somewhere. I wonder how many other bolts I put in also enter the oilways |
