Default Fuses blowing when wipers used

Hello all , I have a Volvo 240 GL H Reg 1991 2.0 Estate, I had a stereo fitted the other day at Road Radio, I am not sure if this is a coincidence but it seems strange, ever since I have had the stereo fitted the fuse(number8-16amp) blows everytime I put the wipers on thus stopping the stereo and everything else connected to that fuse number! I am sure it was fine before this stereo was fitted but then I can not be 100 percent as I had a crappy old stereo in the car before that I hardly used.,.Anyway I have now taken the wiper fuse out(number2), so that I dont put the wipers on by accident as its costing me a fortune in fuses! but as you will understand thats hardly ideal, anyone have any ideas what this problem is being caused by? I have taken it back to Road Radio and also rang him but he insists its nothing to do with his fitting...
Any suggestions please?

Thanks in advance.

Have they taken the power source for the stereo from the wiper power source, overloading it, and causing the fuse to blow ? or have they disturbed the wiper motor earth ?
Kevin.

Hmmm both possible and probable but I am not sure where to look to see if they have done that, I will say though that the wipers carry on working and that fuse does not blow ,only the stereo fuse blows and goes off, sorry I forgot to say that in my earlier post..
