Tis based on the actual amount gone in. The computer is a few percent out in reality, but gives a good guide. Indicated 54 is more like 50-51mpg. Not bad though.

All tyre places will do Nitrogen in tyres if asked. They let all air out and then refill with Nitrogen. Get better mpg, handling and the tyres last longer as they do not get as hot.

Still think it can do more. Would anyone recommend any injector cleaning additives??

I use a bottle of "STP" fuel injector cleaner just about each month in my car. £2 from Asda so no a huge expense. Dont know if it works but cant really do any great harm and at £2!

one thing that they said when doing tracking that suprised me is that there is no toe adjustment on the car?? They could only adjust the camber. Is this correct?

Cheers.

Odometer may be slightly underestimating or overestimating, but if I do 300 miles and put in 90 litres say then that gives me a figure. If I then drive an idicated 450 miles and put in 90 litres that also gives me a figure. A gallon is 4.546 litres. Divide one by tother gives me an mpg figure.

I know the tank only holds 50 litres or whatever but you get my drift. so, it doesnt matter if the mileage odometer is over or under. Tis the fluid going in that is measured one against tother and its only accurate to a camels back leg unless I use a measured, calibrated and very accurate odmeter. Who cares. Long time dead. Live a little.

I only ever get 42-44 mpg what could I look to do to improve my mpg?

I have had New tyres balanced and wheel aligned along with all new discs and pads recently, there doesn't appear to have been any increase or decrease as a result though?

I also don't drive like a loon but not like a grandpa either.

It's due the dpf additive in the next 1000 mile or so...
