Default Breaking 240 estate 1990 & Rear facing seat

Dismantling 240 Estate GL 1990 model 2.3 B230F with 5 speed manual gearbox.
275,000 miles on clock ! Currently runs and drives but gearbox is noisey.
Keeping some parts for my 200 and others have already been reserved/sold.
Has rear facing extra twin seat in reasonable condition, could do with a clean but complete with seat belts, very minor damage on armrests.

Items sold are ~ 2 x headlamps, petrol cap, some external waist trims, both mirrors, alternator, radiator, steering rack, pas pump, propshaft and screen wiper arms.

Left Hand rear lamp is newish, dash board top is cracked and both front door pockets have hairline cracks but could be repaired if needed.Interior is quite awful so seats are shot.

I'm going to strip it down to almost a bare rolling shell, so most electrical/mechanical parts will be removed except the engine/gearbox,axles etc.

Will post at reasonable cost, so let me know before I contact the banger boys to send the shell off in style !!

Cheers Jim

I'm tempted to come up and swap the passenger side doors with you...I've got a white Torslanda with dented/scraped doors. I'm only in Torbay.

I don't suppose you would sell the front struts would you? I'm after some suspension bits too: panhard rod, anti roll bars etc.

Ooooh...and first dibs on the rear lights and the door pockets if they're blue!

Default 240 Rear Facing Seat

As requested, pic of rear seat, only damage is on the inner side of both armrests, both approx the size of a 50p coin.

One is visible in the pic'. No rips/stains etc otherwise just needs a clean.

Complete as far as I am aware with seat belts, fittings etc.

This now removed from vehicle.

Cheers Jim

Do you have the cat and lambda sensor (depending on your model the sensor either fits in the cat or directly into the pipe) ? - I'd be very grateful for them.

Many thanks - Dan C.

Default 240 cat

Hi Dan,

Cat and sensor still on car and working fine, no emission lights on dash ! B230F & B200F engines have the same system I think, might pay to check first. What year is your car/engine spec ?

Can remove for you and post.

£60.00 for cat' and £10 for the sensor plus postage £15.00 approx'

Remember scrap value for your old cat must be about £40.00, so you can get that back afterwards !!

Hope this helps.

Cheers Jim

Hello - do you still have the wagon, or has it gone to the celestial parking lot already? I'm looking for a glovebox, uncracked at the lower front corners.
