xc 90
hi, my wife has expressed a desire to replace her saab aero estate with a volvo xc90. its been coming for some time. we have had many volvos over the years but have no experience other than trawling around car pitches all weekend of the xc90.
she wants ideally sat nav factory fitted and 2005 onwards in excellent condition. most of our journeys are very short so a diesel may not be ideal for clogging up the egr ? not really sure of the difference between the 2.5 and 2.9 petrol engines but both seem fast enough to me. we are in leicester but willing to travel. what have you got please? thanks, john. ps,hi chris from the uksaabs if you read this! |

My XC90
Hi John,
I have an XC90 for sale at the moment. Is is top of the range with factory side steps, pop up satnav etc etc. It is 2005 in dark blue and has full Volvo Service History to the tune of £1000's with 14 stamps. The condition is pretty good with a couple of small bumps but nothing major. The only thing it needs is two error messages looking at (alarm and anti skid - both of which were on when we got it 8 months ago and don't seem to be causing any issues) and a full service. If you're interested, (and it doesn't sell on eBay this weekend!) pse give me a shout on 07769 206028. I'm only looking for about £5750. It has full MOT and 6 months tax too. The car is in Coleford, Gloucestershire. Toodle pip! LeicesterCitySi |

dare i say it, our 04 XC90 (i belive is Euro 3 engine and NO dpf in exhasut to worry about) has never caused a problem with my wife doing lots of short runs and circa 6-7k miles a year...wouldnt fancy that on a Euro 4 dpf'd engine
maybe worth considering for you, an older XC90.
