You don't need to be that angry about it. You look like you need to show others how much you disliked a car, what would that help you with?

Edit: To the original poster, make sure the fluid is at level, and of course use only the specific 3309 fluid. You may also want to have the transmission software updated, recommended after a fluid change. Also, one of the causes of that message, is when the fluid is overheating (possible fluid contamination from internal radiator leaking).

Auto specialists reprogrammed and flushed...they say it was the brake pedal link to the gearbox...telling it when to dump pressure? She drives like a new car now and whole bathing cost £270 inc vat. Hurray

Here's a suggestion:

Have there been any other symptoms apart from the message?
That really does look a fantastic bit of kit for the money (I can't be doing with knock-off clones and running mandated software for VIDA/DICE) Odd how those never came up when I was doing extensive internet searches for all module OBD2 readers.

Might have to treat myself to one of those

Good news, glad you got it sorted, just goes to show that with a little patience you can get things sorted

Were you really looking around my profile to see if/when I was on here? Thats a bit sad matey!

Yes, I'm back again.....TO ASK ADMIN TO DELETE MY ACCOUNT, since they didn't do it several weeks ago when asked. That'll save this poor sod having to check my log-in's every day & maybe he'll have time to get himself a life.

Angry? I was probably dancing around the garden with joy at that time dude! Sorry I felt the need to post something negative about a Volvo, since you all know they are simply perfection & nowhere on this site will similar comments be seen...eh?? Try not to lose too much sleep over it though.

You had a bad experience with your car, and surely you are not alone. I don't believe that because they have 'Volvo' stamped on it, all used cars on the market must be a perfect buy. Others had maybe worst experiences than yours. But most of us here are happy with ours, otherwise we wouldn't be here to talk. Sorry for your experience, I'm sorry about everyone who paid for a vehicle, lost money on it, and had a bitter experience.

I can understand why you were a bit cheesed off Buster but it worked the other way with me. I had a 530e and it was an expensive disappointment and was delighted to get rid of it and will never have another BMW. Volvo have given me the trouble free motoring which I sought. There was no point in making a song and dance about it. It was sold. Gone. And I returned to Volvo which gives me great pleasure. I actually have three. The oldest is a 1966 model.
It is fair to say that there are a lot of satisfied Volvo owners here so I am afraid you are very much in the minority here.
Better luck with your next acquisition.
