Default 2008 HID headlight unit wanted

I'm looking for a driver's side (RH) headlight unit for my 2008 S60 2.4D SE Lux. (Mine has HID dip beam which swivels with the steering and HB3 main beam)

That's gonna cost you.......quite rare to find Active Bi-xenons on P2 S60....

Have you considered buying the regular Headlamp and swapping the bits over from your Active unit? You'd need to heat your Xenon headlamp assembly around the edges to soften the glue etc.
You can give those projectors a good clean whilst it's apart.

£95 ebay.

Not sure that mine is Bi-Xenon. It has HID on dip and HB3 "normal" bulbs on main
according to this (http://www.differencebetween.net/obj...-and-bi-xenon/) mine are not Bi-Xenon

What's the problem with the current headlight? Perhaps there is an opportunity to repair rather than replace. For example, while the lens is not detachable it can often be removed by gently warming the unit in an oven. Assuming the lens is no different to non-active xenon then you might be able to pick one up for less money than the original type & then transfer the parts you need.

The problem was that the OS headlight beam was weak and with an odd coverage. I didn't know if the bulb and or the active system was faulty. I had my garage look at it and the bulb is in poor condition. If I had time, I'd look for an aftermarket bulb. There's plenty on the Web

I didn't have time to replace the bulb myself, so got it done by the garage that was replacing my handbrake cable. They reported that some of the fingers which hold the bulb in could only be eased out (to allow the bulb to sit correctly) by putting the whole headlight on the bench. I now have both dipped beams working correctly! The procedure for replacing those bulbs could only have been designed by a gynecologist!
