You missed your MAF figure at idle so can you post that later please.......

Also, can you get your MAP psi with engine off ignition on, then idle, then 2k revs.

Awesome, thanks cheshired - love the idea of blowing some smoke in there. Totally wouldn't have thought of that one...

Will check MAP values if they're available on Torque Pro and post idle MAF at lunch time.

No problem.
Torque Pro has MAP. It's listed as intake manifold pressure or manifold pressure.
These are the figures achievable on a well running D5.

So I've taken a load of stats from various rpm:

http://s1122.photobucket.com/user/sh...qsvo3.jpg.html

I noticed on the last one, the 'vacuum' clock changed to 'boost'. What's that all aboot?

I was going to check the engine mounts but couldn't see how to get the plastic engine cover off - there's no bolts through it or anything. Rookie question, but is this just clipped on somewhere?

Cheers

You're creating no boost over 1500 rpm and the reason for that may depend on your version of engine so which D5 have you got?
Black cover Euro 3 or silver cover Euro 4?

Black cover.

I find it odd that the problem is intermittent, only when the error code appears. It can go days without performance problems, then it breaks down.

Actually I just tried this again after clearing the fault code - the Vacuum figure went down (i.e. a larger negative number) as the revs went up.. I'd expect this to turn into boost rather than vacuum, if the turbo was doing its job?
