auto box tailend seal

240 GL auto ( 89 ) leaking from the tailend gearbox oil seal...got the seal , looks like an easy job.....yeah heard that before...do i need a sleeve as well ? or is it worth taking a chance , prefer to do the job once and do it right any advice welcome thanks

grab the propshaft near the flange and if there is any noticable up and down movement when you shake it , yes take the end cover off and replace the bush which the flange runs in ...
